Woodside 70th Anniversary

OVERVIEW

We’re still buzzing from the incredible gala dinner we pulled off for Woodside Energy’s big 7-0 at the Crown Astral Ballrooms on August 10, 2024. It was a night filled with glam, fine dining, and standout performances!

OBJECTIVE & CHALLENGE

The venue was decked out across three ballrooms, but we started everyone off in Ballroom 3. This space was all about the vibes with a stunning floral wall (big shoutout to Signature Floral Design) that was the selfie hotspot of the evening.

INNOVATION & IMPLEMENTATION

The night really kicked into high gear with a show-stopping Pas de Deux from Swan Lake by the WA Ballet—talk about setting the bar high! As guests enjoyed a lush three-course meal, the WA Youth Orchestra provided the perfect soundtrack, filling the room with beautiful melodies.

After dinner, we transformed the welcome area into a swanky bar. Yes, the cocktails were flowing, and yes, the conversations got even better!

The fabulous Jerrie Demasi brought her A-game as our MC, guiding us through the evening with her trademark wit. We were also treated to a powerful Welcome to Country by Robyn Collard, which was followed by an energetic performance by Binar Futures.

Not to forget, we heard from Woodside’s very own leaders, including CEO Meg O’Neill and Chairman Richard Goyder, who gave us some great insights into the company's past achievements and exciting future.

RESULTS & SUCCESS

The feedback was nothing short of amazing. Guests didn’t want to leave—always a sign of a night well spent. While we can’t share formal kudos from Woodside, the on-the-spot praise from our guests and partners was all the validation we needed.
