INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
OVERVIEW
For the globally celebrated International Women's Day, Mayler + Co had the honor of collaborating with the lead agency, The Usual Suspects to run the United Nations, International Women’s Day.
Orchestrated at the grand Optus Stadium River View Room, this event was a testament to women's empowerment and global collaboration.
OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES
The primary goal was to flawlessly run a nationwide event with the unique challenge of facilitating live cross-communication between key Australian cities - Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
Additionally, the objective was to adeptly manage the local technical and producing teams to ensure streamlined proceedings.
INNOVATION & IMPLEMENTATION
This year's theme, 'Cracking the Code', centered on the crucial role of technology in advancing women's causes globally. It also underscored the growing gender gap in this realm. To resonate with this theme, we integrated advanced tech solutions to celebrate International Women's Day, a day that globally unites women in their quest for equality.
With our collaborative approach with The Usual Suspects as the lead agency, we ensured a perfect blend of technology and message.
Our partnership with Austage Events took care of the AV requirements, while Tina Altieri graced the event as the MC.
Guests heard from a number of inspirational female leaders including Grace Forrest, the founding director of Walk Free and 2021 Young West Australian of the Year.
IMPACT
An enlightening talk by Grace Forrest, the founder of Walk Free, as the local speaker.
An impressive gathering of over 600 attendees in Perth.
A nationwide cumulative fundraising achievement of over $150k in donations.
